The World of Beatrix Potter, Trotters World of Animals, Aquarium of the Lakes, Dove Cottage and Wordsworth Museum, Brockhole Visitor Centre, Cars of the Stars Motor Museum, Rydal Mount, home of William Wordsworth and Blackwell a recently restored Arts and Crafts House.
Walking – we can show you the best walks in the area through forests, by lakes, along fells or high ridges. Cycling or Mountain Biking – take a trip to Grizedale Forest for some of the best mountain biking trails you can find. Bring your own bike or hire them locally. Horse Riding – enjoy the fantastic scenery and the country air on the back of a horse from nearby stables. Water Sports – dinghy sailing, canoeing and windsurfing are all available on Lake Windermere and can be booked by a member of our staff. Golf and Fishing are also available.
